Miami Prepares For Georgia Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams travel to the University of Georgia to compete in the annual Georgia Invitational from Dec. 3-5 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, GA.

The University of Miami women (3-3) will be swimming against teams from Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee, and the host and No. 1-ranked Lady Bulldogs. The Hurricane women have been led this year by senior All-American Amy Lindblom (Milford, CT), senior NCAA qualifier Julie Kemp (Potomac, MD), freshman Elaine Schwartz (Mt. Laurel, NJ), and freshman diver Katie Beth Bryant (Chatham, IL).

The University of Miami men (1-4) will be swimming against teams from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and the host and No. 7-ranked Bulldogs. The Hurricane men have been led by junior Daniel Asencio (Newark, NJ) and sophomores Scott Gentles (Atlanta, GA) and Wesley Stoddard (Huntsville, AL).
