Todd Widom Advances In The All-American Tournament

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-Sophomore Todd Widom (Coral Springs, Fla.) advances to the second round of the main draw at the 2002 Icy Hot/ITA Men’s All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn.

No. 13 Widom beat No. 86 Chris Lam of UCLA in three sets. Widom won the first set 6-2, before losing the second set 7-6 (5). He closed out the victory over Lam with a 6-1 victory in the third.

Widom will face Benedikt Dorsch of Baylor in the second round Friday morning.
