Hurricanes to Hold 2004 First Pitch Banquet

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Head Coach Jim Morris and the Miami baseball team swing into the new season with the 2004 “First Pitch” Banquet featuring guest speaker David Samson President of the Florida Marlins.

The banquet will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at the Biscayne Bay Marriott, 1633 North Bayshore Drive, Downtown Miami. The reception and silent auction starts at 6pm with the dinner and program following at 7pm.

The cost is $75 for UM baseball season ticket holders and Hurricane Club members. The cost is $100 for the general public. The advance registration deadline is Friday, January 23. All reservations must be made in advance.

The Miami baseball team opens its season with the Alumni game on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. and then starts the regular season on Friday, Feb. 13, with a 7 p.m. showdown with the Florida Gators.
