Monday #ProCanes Report: Graham Doubles Up
A week after the explosion of Jaguars rookie Allen Hurns in his professional debut, a number of #ProCanes regulars made headlines across the league with dominant performances in Week 2. Jimmy Graham hauled in two touchdowns against Cleveland, Frank Gore scored a rushing touchdown, while Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson both led their teams in receptions and yards.
Jimmy Graham (New Orleans Saints): 10 catches, 118 yards, two touchdowns
Since the start of the 2012 NFL season, no player has had more touchdowns than New Orleans’ fifth-year tight end Jimmy Graham. Always a threat in the redzone, Graham hauled in two more touchdowns in a disappointing 26-24 loss to Cleveland to bring his career total to 43 scores and 27 since 2012. Graham, who hauled in eight passes for 82 yards in last week’s loss to Atlanta, recorded the fourth double-digit reception game of his career (10) with 118 yards. He ranks first among all NFL tight ends with 200 receiving yards through the first two games of the season.

Calais Campbell (Arizona Cardinals): 10 tackles, one sack
Arizona’s defense held the New York Giants to just 14 points Sunday afternoon, and one of the team’s most important contributors was Calais Campbell. The seventh-year defensive end recorded the first sack of his season and 37th of his career on a takedown of Giants quarterback Eli Manning, and was one of the Cardinals top contributors against the New York running attack. Another big play – a sack-fumble by Campbell – was wiped out by an Arizona penalty. The Colorado native said after the game: “I know what we can be, and I know what we can do, so I want to be perfect…all in all, we had a great performance.”
Frank Gore (San Francisco 49ers): 13 catches, 63 yards, one touchdown
A week after becoming just the 10th running back in NFL history to the 10,000-yard mark with a single team, Frank Gore was one of San Francisco’s biggest contributors in a disappointing 28-20 loss on opening night at brand new Levi Stadium. Gore carried the ball 13 times for 63 yards, and his eight-yard touchdown run in the second quarter put San Francisco ahead by a comfortable 17-0 margin. The touchdown was the 61st of Gore’s career, which put him in a tie with Herschel Walker and O.J. Simpson for 43rd all-time in the category.
