Langmo Plays in Singles Finals at UVa Ranked

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore Christian Langmo played in Sunday’s championship match of the 10th Annual UVa Ranked 1+1 Invitational, held at the Snyder Tennis Center in Charlottesville, Va.Langmo faced No. 115 Alexander Ritschard of Virginia, in the orange draw singles championship on Sunday afternoon. Langmo battled to a 7-5 first set, then fell in the second 6-1 to earn runner-up honors. In the orange draw’s third-place match, No. 45 Piotr Lomacki played two tough sets against No. 125 Mac Styslinger of Virginia, but was defeated 7-6, 7-6. Max Andrews played in the consolation final of the blue draw in his first tournament as a Hurricane. Andrews took the first set to a tiebreak, but lost 7-6(8), 6-2 to Rogerio Ribeiro of East Tennessee State University.The Canes are back in action this weekend in Ft.
