Lomacki Continues Winning Ways at Futures

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – On Wednesday, University of Miami sophomore Piotr Lomacki continued his winning streak in the doubles main draw of the USTA Futures in Birmingham, Ala.

Lomacki, of Warsaw, Poland, teamed up with American Jared Hiltzik to defeat Dominic Cotrone and Alex Rybakov, 6-1, 2-6 (10-8) in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. The duo will now face 4th-seeded Hunter Johnson and Yates Johnson in the semifinals.

Lomacki has also moved into the second round of the singles main draw, and will next face 8th-seed Alexios Halebian.
