Miami Golf Ranked No. 21 in Golf Channel Preseason Rankings
The University of Miami women’s golf team will enter the 2026-27 season ranked No. 21 in Golf Channel’s preseason women’s college golf rankings.
Golf Channel’s Brentley Romine tabbed the Hurricanes among the nation’s top 30 programs entering the new campaign, highlighting Miami’s new roster and the depth it holds heading into the fall.
Miami’s lineup features the return of Ashleen Kaur, Rebekah Gardner and Scarlett Schremmer. Schremmer is coming off an impressive summer that included victories at both the Women’s Southern Amateur and Ladies National Golf Association Amateur.
Schremmer was also selected as a Golf Channel Preseason Honorable Mention All-American, checking in at No. 36.
The Hurricanes also welcome back Olivia Grønborg and Barbora Bujáková. Grønborg, a top 150 amateur, returns after redshirting in 2025-26, while Bujáková enters the year following a victory at the Czech International Amateur Championship this summer.
Head coach Janice Olivencia also added South Alabama transfer Anna Behnsen and freshmen Carlee Rogers, Kai Trump, and Bella Dovhey to the 2026-27 roster. Dovhey joins the Hurricanes after capturing the FHSAA State Championship title and the 2026 FSGA Girls’ Junior Championship in June.
Golf Channel noted that the combination of Miami’s returning talent and newcomers gives the Hurricanes a lineup capable of making a national impact this season.
The Hurricanes are one of five ACC programs ranked inside Golf Channel’s preseason top 30, joining No. 6 Duke, No. 7 Wake Forest, No. 8 Florida State and No. 22 Virginia.
