2026 Outdoor

Earned a podium finish in the 5000m at the Florida Relays.

2026 Indoor

Earned the fourth-best time in program history with an 8:23.01 3000m at the Razorback Invitational, later improving to 8:21.33 at the Tiger Paw Invitational.
Finished the mile in 4:09.54 at the Tiger Paw Invitational, the third best time in program history.
Also ran the 3000m in the ACC Indoor Championship, posting a time of 8:23.25.

2025 Cross Country

Competed in all five meets, including the ACC Championship and the NCAA DI South Regional.
Ran a personal best 31:58.22 in the 10K at the NCAA Regional.

2025 Outdoor

Was set to compete in the Hurricane Invitational.

Clocked 15:26.0 in the 5K at the FAU Invitational, good for a second-place finish

Posted personal bests of 16.13.2 in the 5K, 20:05.3 in the 6K, 25.42.5 in the 8K, and 32:24.30 in the 10K for his freshman season

2023 Indoor

Placed second at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open in the mile with 4:13.78
Solidified a personal best of 4:12.52 and broke into the number two spot in the Miami indoor record books for the men’s one mile at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

2022 Cross Country

Placed 14th in the 5K with 16:13.20 at the UCF Cross Country Invite in collegiate debut.
Posted personal bests of 16.13.2 in the 5K, 20:05.3 in the 6K, 25.42.5 in the 8K, and 32:24.30 in the 10K for his freshman season.

High School

Three-time district champion in the 4×4, 1600, and 3200…area champion in the 1600 and 3200..holds the his high school record in the 1600 at 4:14…placed fifth at the TTFCA Meet of Champions in 2022…district 7 champion..region one all-state first team…team captain.

Personal

Personal: Son to Lydia and Romulo Borrego. Has one older sibling, Isabel. In his free-time, Enrique enjoys fishing, cycling, kayaking, basketball, spikeball, and sand volleyball.
