Hilland Finishes Fourth At Beacon Woods Invitational

Bayonet Point, FL (hurricanesports.com) – Miami sophomore Camilla Hilland (75-74-71-220) fired a final-round 71 to finish fourth at the Beacon Woods Invitational held at Beacon Woods Country Club in Bayonet Point, FL.

South Florida’s Fany Schaeffer (74-72-69-215) was individual medallist while Louisville’s Morgan Hapney (74-67-75-216) finished second.

Overall the Hurricanes finished seventh in the team competition with a three-round total of 919 (311-309-299). Mississippi (297-302-286-885) won the team championship by 12 strokes. Host South Florida (295-306-296-897) took second.

Other top Hurricane finishers included freshman Tina Miller who finished in a tie for 33rd (77-80-76-233) and sophomore Katie Buscemi who finished in a tie for 36th (78-75-81-234).
