Prats Seventh After First Round of Pinehurst Challenge

Pinehurst, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami junior Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) fired an opening round 76 and is tied for seventh at the Pinehurst Challenge in Pinehurst, N.C.

As a team the Hurricanes shot 318 and is tied for 11th. Maryland leads the team competition after an opening round 302.UNC-Wilmington’s Michelle Jarman opened with a round of 72 to take the first round lead individually.

The Hurricanes will begin second round action beginning Monday at 9:15 a.m.
